If you're dreaming of a Holmewood Hall wedding, Jordan and Robyn’s beautiful September celebration is sure to inspire. As a wedding photographer at Holmewood Hall, I’ve been lucky to witness some truly special days — and theirs was one I’ll never forget.
Set on a clear, sunlit day, the couple said “I do” in a romantic outdoor wedding ceremony beneath the venue’s iconic bandstand. With guests watching from the grand windows of the hall, the setting felt both intimate and grand — a perfect match for the venue’s elegant charm.
Holmewood Hall offers one of the most picturesque backdrops in the UK, and the September light gave us something really special. After the ceremony, we took full advantage of the golden hour — that magical time just before sunset — for some relaxed, romantic portraits. The gardens glowed in the warm light, and Robyn’s dress shimmered as she walked hand in hand with Jordan through the grounds.
Later in the evening, once the party was in full swing, we stepped out once more for some night-time wedding photography. The contrast of soft lighting and starry skies made for moody, cinematic portraits — a beautiful way to bookend the day.
As a photographer, moments like these are what I live for. Natural, unscripted joy. Beautiful light. A couple so clearly in love. Jordan and Robyn’s wedding captured everything I love about UK weddings, especially when the venue is as breath taking as Holmewood Hall.
